Bethnal Green - NOW FULL

Tuesday, 10 April 2018

This walk may be regarded as the antidote to Fitzrovia! From Bethnal Green tube station we will visit the site of the worst civilian disaster of WWII, and go on to explore the environs of
what has always been one of the poorest areas in London, but enlivened towards the end by the unexpected delight of Victoria Park.

Meet at Letchworth Station to catch the 9.56am train to Kings Cross (9.52am Baldock, 10.00am Hitchin). Gather beyond the barrier at Kings Cross. Buy an off-peak Travelcard.

To book: contact Keith Montague by 12 March, preferably by email: or 01462 450852 (NOT Rosemary), with confirmation of LALG membership, your email address and, ideally, a mobile contact number.

Our walks are open to all LALG members, and we ask for a £3 per head contribution towards the leader’s research expenses.

Contact number on the day: 07900 868180.
