Henry Moore Studios - visit

Friday, 1 September 2017

A visit to Henry Moore Studios, Gardens, his home ‘Hoglands’ and the current exhibition: ‘BECOMING HENRY MOORE’ revealing his influences and inspirations. All this against the backdrop of his stunning Hertfordshire estate including the sheep Moore was infatuated with.

Perry Green, Much Hadham, Herts. SG10 6EE

Leaving Plinston Hall at 10.15am should be back for 5.00pm.

Why now? Exhibition keeps getting rave reviews; both cafeteria and visitor centre recently refurbished. Travel: Heritage Foundation Minibus is booked but can take only 11 persons. Making your own way there in small groups is easy enough; we could all meet up for a coffee at 11.00am in the cafeteria. Cost: The Group ticket is £14.30 but I'd suggest we all take the coffee with biscuits while planning the day (cost £3.50). Minibus travel is an extra £10.50.

Lunch/afternoon tea is available at the Hoops Inn on the village green next door or in their café. Let me hear from you early in July, especially if you'd like to book a minibus seat.
