Visit Hull - City of Culture (NEW DEPARTURE TIME)

Wednesday, 16 August 2017 - 7:30am

Wednesday 16 August Hull – City of Culture
Hull is a city that knows how to combine a rich culture with a fun and vibrant social scene and Hull Old Town is at the heart of this. Take a trip down the cobbled streets, including one of only two surviving medieval street patterns in Yorkshire, and discover the city’s bygone era. Visit the Museums Quarter and follow the unique Fish Trail (you’ll spot sea life in the pavements) which leads to some of the city’s most stunning cultural locations. You can admire the architecture on the old High Street, pop for a pint in one of the historic pubs or check out the excavated remains of Beverley Gate, where visitors would gain entry to the city. Hull Old Town is also home to new, modern attractions.
The cost will be £25 LALG member, £30 non-members.
The approximate timings will be leaving Baldock outside Templars Restaurant (formerly Zeus) at 7.30am and Letchworth opposite Barclays bank at 7.45am.
Costs and timings will be confirmed in the July newsletter.
