A day in Knightsbridge – Museums or Shopping? Or even just a stroll through the park. The coach will drop us off close to the museums: Natural History, Science and the V & A. Just up the road is Harrods and other Knightsbridge shops and a short walk away is Hyde Park with the Serpentine Gallery, Diana Memorial and Kensington Palace.

Entry to the three museums is free but some exhibitions at the Natural History Museum have a small charge. These include the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Sensational Butterflies and Other Worlds Visions of our Solar System. Timed tickets for these can be booked online. If you would like further information please ask when booking. Exhibitions at the V & A include Curtain Up – celebrating 40 years of theatre in London and New York and Bejewelled Treasures – Indian jewellery from the Mughal Empire to modern day.

The cost (which does not include entry to any of the exhibitions) is £15.00 for LALG members and £16.00 for non-members. The coach will leave Baldock (by Templars Restaurant) at 8.30am and Letchworth (opposite Barclays Bank) at 8.45am. To book please phone Susan Mellor on 01462 456486 from 9.30am on Monday 7 March.
