PAINTED WOLF ROSALIND PINOTAGE ROSE, PAARL 2013 (Wine Society)
Grape: Pinotage
Origin: The grapes for this wine were sourced from a single block of Pinotage in the Paarl region, picked especially for making rosé. A fine, fruity wine with bright cherry and strawberry aromas, and a fresh lingering finish.
Taste:
- Fresh and bone dry (1 of 9)
- No oak influence
Enjoy: Great with fish and salads

BOSCHENDAL SAUVIGNON BLANC 2013, COASTAL REGION (Majestic Wines)
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Origin: Boschendal vineyard is on the slopes of the Groot Drakenstein Mountains.
Taste:
- Dry white with crisp acidity
- Clean lingering finish
- Tropical fruit, citrus and herbs
Enjoy: Superb as an aperitif or with seafood

ROBERTSON WINERY CHENIN BLANC 2013, WESTERN CAPE (Majestic Wines)
Grape: Chenin Blanc
Origin: Warm and dry Robertson Valley is further inland than most SA vineyards but the Breede River provides a cooling influence giving a Chenin Blanc of excellent character.
Taste:
- Dry white with excellent character and consistency
- Light straw colour with firm structure and acidity
- Crammed full of pineapple melon and apple

PARCEL SERIES SHIRAZ 2012, WESTERN CAPE (Majestic Wines)
Grape: Shiraz
Origin: Exclusive to Majestic Wines from one of SA’s most well-established producers. Hand harvested from vineyards in Paarl Darling and Stellenbosch, the grapes are cool fermented before maturing in second fill oak barrels.
Taste:
- Full spicy red wine matured in French & American oak barrels
- Predominantly mulberry and plum
- Strong liquorice character
- Hints of coriander and spice

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Origin: Exclusive to Majestic Wines this wine is hand harvested and fermented in traditional open tanks. Matured for 18 months in oak barrels.

Paul Cluver Riesling Noble Late Harvest, 2012 (Paul Cluver)
Grape: Riesling
Origin: The vines were planted in 1987, making them 25 years old for this vintage. Fermented and matured for eight months prior to blending, stabilizing and bottling.
Taste:
- Full and impressively rich but with superb balance, the result of elegant Riesling acidity. The aftertaste seems to linger forever.
- Complex, yet elegant with slightly more perfumed, floral notes and with hints of ripe peaches and pineapple.
Enjoy: The perfect way to end a meal, or enjoy with flavoursome cheeses.
