Badminton

A friendly group of players with 2 or more years experience, who play at the Letchworth Tennis Club in Muddy Lane, Letchworth Garden City (Mondays 8.00pm to 10.00pm).

We are now full.

Names will be taken to go on a waiting list for players with some experience.

Bridge Club

It has been decided that, as from the beginning of November 2011, LALG will have one bridge club. The club will play on Tuesday and Friday afternoons, from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Each session will take place at:

The Friends' Meeting House, Howgills, 42 South View, Letchworth.

Sessions will cost £1.50 per person.

New members and improvers are welcome.

Games Club

Do you enjoy a chat, a laugh and some gentle brain strain?

We certainly have had some great meetings recently. If you haven't had a chance to come yet, you are

more than welcome to join us every other Monday evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the café at Letchworth Arts Centre, 2 The Arcade, Leys Avenue.

We play a wide variety of board games and cards. New members very welcome. I provide tea and coffee etc., as only boiling water is available. There is a small charge of £2.00 per person per meeting and 50p once a month to cover refreshments.

Mah Jong

We meet once or twice a week at members homes where we play the game for pleasure. The game and the way we play it, lend themselves to beginner and more advanced player alike. New members welcome.

Scrabble Club

The Scrabble Club meetings will be suspended until further notice, as there has been a very low response. Would anyone still interested in coming please contact me so that I can consider restarting, possibly in the autumn.
