We meet once a month at Letchworth Arts Centre, (entrance in The Arcade Leys Ave.):  We have coffee and to plan future trips - usually one a month,

Also, members contact one another for ad-hoc trips.

Regular meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month at 11.00 am to approx 12.30 pm, at the Central Methodist Church, at the junction of Pixmore Way and Norton Way South, Letchworth.

Typically we have expert guest speakers giving illustrated talks on variety of topics, travel, history, the natural world, etc. There is a small charge of £2.00 per session to cover costs. Ample parking.

New members, both male and female, are especially welcome.

This group meets on a Tuesday every other month to sample real ales and enjoy good company and conversation.

New Members Welcome!

An appreciation of fine English beer and its part in the equally fine tradition of bar debate are the foundations of the Firkin Club. Members sharing these traits meet every eight weeks to put world affairs into a personal perspective, viewed through their pint glass.

<--break->Meetings are held at the Three Horseshoes, Willian where new landlords Deborah & Scott, are making the pub a destination for really good real ale. There are always 5 real ales to choose from including some well beyond the usual Greene King range.

New members are welcome to join us at the next meeting to help with a subjective tasting of the latest ales.
.

New Members Welcome. A group formed to celebrate the hot English dessert pudding. We have sampled Spotted Dick, Golden Pudding, Suffolk Pond Pudding and similar hearty fare. (We sometimes break our rules in the summer, we have even had meringues!)  Every month, having had our first course at home, we meet at a member’s house for THE PUDDING.

The season is in 'pseudo' hibernation ie I will inform you about a possible ride if the forecast looks good as some of you hardy souls have requested.  Any newcomer wishing to join us during this period, please contact Group Contact.

We meet in the summer months for easy social cycling in the surrounding countryside.

We normally meet  outside Lordship Farm Primary School at the top of Howard Drive, Letchworth on Sundays.   See our 'Events panel to the right for details of this month's ride.

New participants always welcome.

Supper Club meets roughly every two months to dine (or lunch) out, typically at a price of £25 - £30 per head. We try to have a theme to our meals, either local speciality restaurants (e.g. Black Horse at Ireland) or "outings" (e. g. dog racing at Peterborough).

All current members of LALG are welcome to join us - look out for notices in the Newsletter.  Regular members of the group meet annually to plan our programme of events.
