At our last meeting we tried 2 exciting new ales: the favourite was the award winning Everard‟s Tiger Best Bitter (4.2%), a classic example of getting the perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness. Also a pleasant surprise was another award winner, Hum Dinger (4.0%) from John Holt of Manchester which was a refreshing pint with just a hint of honey.

Scott is still searching for the two ales that will give members something to talk about at the next meeting but, judging by past performance, you can rest assured that they‟ll be something special.
