Our first Just Foods of the World foray in November 2017

Our first foray into the exotic started with a visit to Jamaica. Greeted with rum cocktails on arrival, we eventually sat down to an amazing array of dishes: Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas (actually
beans), Jerk Pork with Banana Salsa served with Plantains and Hot & Spicy Sweet Potato. Dessert followed with a Caribbean take on Bread Pudding (Ponche-de-Crème) and Treacle Tart, both served with rum-infused cream. A really fabulous introduction to some of the traditional dishes from Jamaica.
