Harcamlow Way 1 - Melbourn to Wimpole Hall 09/02/16

Our walk started in Melbourn from where we headed south west to the A10. From here we briefly walked north, zigzagging across the Greenwich Meridian before heading west to Kneesworth and then north to Whaddon where we had lunch. After lunch we continued north west to the Wimpole Avenue with the Hall in the distance. As we approached the Hall we crossed the A603 Cambridge Road and skirted the octagonal basin (now dry) created by Charles Bridgeman (d. 1738). We then took a slight diversion to the west to pass through Arrington, returning to the Wimpole Estate through the original main gate.
