Action for Happiness

'Action for Happiness' is a movement for positive social change, bringing together people interested in trying out psychological techniques that improve our sense of well-being.
The group format involves discussion about research conducted within the field of 'positive psychology'. Members then try out activities evidenced to increase happiness such as mindfulness, identifying strengths, gratitude diaries, being near nature (as well as many others). The group can share their experiences and monitor feelings over time to observe any improvement.
Initially the group will meet monthly at the Par 3 Family Golf Club, Willian Way Letchworth and there will be a small charge of £1.50 for members and £2.50 for non-members, to cover room rental and sundries. Teas and coffees can be purchased at the venue.
Directions: For Willian Way - turn off at the traffic lights on Baldock Road (A505), opposite Norton Way South. Drive along Willian Way and the entrance to Par 3 is on the right, indicated by a blue sign.
